Eldora Speedway is a high-banked 1/2-mile clay oval racing complex located just north of Rossburg, Ohio. Affectionately referred to as The Big E™, Eldora is owned by motorsports entrepreneur and NASCAR, IndyCar, and USAC champion, Tony Stewart, who purchased Eldora from its legendary founder and promoter, Earl Baltes, in 2004. Baltes and his wife, Berneice, opened Eldora Speedway on June 6, 1954 and had been the sole owner of the facility from day one. The World's Greatest Dirt Track® is home to early June's Dirt Late Model Dream® Weekend, mid-July's Kings Royal® Weekend, and The Biggest Dirt Race In The World™ - The World 100® Weekend; each of which attract over 20,000 spectators for the multi-day extravaganzas. In addition to Eldora's major blockbuster events, it is also renown for spectacular fireworks shows, pyrotechnics, affordable ticket pricing (including FREE general admission for children 13 & younger) and fantastic food at famously low prices.
