The African Brothers Band Int'l was formed in 1963 with its maiden recordings in 1966 (14-Nov-66). The very first song recorded at the Ghana Film Industries Corp (G.I.F.C.C) were Aganka Dabre and Suminaso Ntonko. The musicians who started the group includes PSK Ampadu (Deceased), Rover Amo Ampadu, Eddie Donkor (Deceased), Nana Nyarko, Kwame Anim, K Ofori, Yaw Asante and Yaw Owusu. Also Joe Dee, Opong Kyekyeku (Deceased), Lawyer Boateng (Deceased), PK Asare and K. Agyemang. African Brothers Band has over 700 songs to its credit and reigned the highlife music charts for over 31 yrs.
